Skillet Herbed Chicken Patties

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • 3–4 garlic cloves, minced

  • ⅓ cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped

  • ⅓ cup red onion, finely diced

  • 1 teaspoon each of the following:

    • Onion powder

    • Cajun seasoning

    • Dried oregano

    • Paprika

    • Salt

    • Black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients.

  2. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

  3. Form the mixture into 12 evenly sized patties.

  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and spray with olive oil.

  5. Add the patties to the skillet and gently press to slightly flatten.

  6. Cook for 4–5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.

  7. Enjoy warm, or store in the fridge for up to 3 days.


Serving Tip: Great in grain bowls, salads, or in a pita with tzatziki!
